The P4-6 pupils went for stations-based learning during the Cyberwellness Carnival 2017, whereby classes went in at different timings to complete activities related to Social Media and Multi-tasking at the AVA / Music rooms. The activities made the pupils reflect on their actions online and helped them to visualise the effects their actions have on themselves as well as others. Enjoy looking through the photos of our pupils engaged in their learning!
On 15 May 2017, Mr Loh from Kingmaker came to our school to give our P4-6 pupils a talk on Social Media. The pupils sat in rapt attention listening to the speaker and were captivated by the videos shown during the talk. We hope the pupils have learnt some useful information from the talk and made changes in their use of Social Media in order to minimise their risks online.
We celebrated Safer Internet Day 2017 this morning with a pre-assembly talk by our very brave Cyberwellness Ambassadors - Fatimah, Nihal, Josher and Sprecher from Primary 5. This was followed by recess activities where pupils chose Cyberwellness messages to take photos with. Check out the photos under the Gallery tab!
This is Term 3 and we are looking forward to our next assembly talk. Until then, click here to view our Forum page to write in your feedback or queries on CW. We will be of help to you as soon as possible.
You may write your views on cyberwellness and also report some issues that you need to highlight to us on cyber wellness.
The P4-6 pupils had a Cyberwellness talk on Countering Online Aggression by a vendor, Kingmaker, during FTGP period. Following the thought-provoking talk, our CW Ambassadors did a simple follow-up to collect learning points of the talk.
The questions are:
How can we make the Internet a better place?
How would it feel to receive a hurtful message online?
How would it feel to receive a kind, positive message online?
Be sure to complete the McOnline survey!
On Wednesday and Thursday of the same week, the P4-6 pupils were rostered by class to try out some fun activities to learn more about creating a more positive atmosphere on the Internet by not being bystanders. Click here to view the pictures of the Cyberwellness Carnival.
Today, our 4 Cyber-Wellness Ambassadors attended their first training programme at School for Science and Technology. They were well-received by the hosts and enjoyed their learning journey.
Firsty, they visited various display booths set up by other schools and had their hand in some games to learn CW messages. Secondly, they attended a classroom session to learn their roles and responsibilities of CW Ambassadors. Lastly, they worked in teams with other schools to act out some challenging scenerios.

It's the start of Term 2. A term of challenges! Hope you will encourage each other with kind words and positive notes. If you have any discomfort or issues, please speak to adults in school. Alternatively, you can post on our Forum page to discuss the issues anonymously.
Thanks again for your participation!
Our inter-class contest "#belikeus" was well-received by all of you.
The objective of this contest is to promote the healthy use of internet trending issues, like memes, belikebill, #.
We hope through this exercise you have learned how we can use kind words instead of negative remarks online.
Today, we launched Endeavour's Cyberwellness Blog for 2016 during our first assembly talk of the year! The assembly talk was on Safer Internet Day and pupils were presented with 3 scenarios acted by pupils from the Drama Club. Pupils were asked to make the right choice given the scenarios.
From the team of Cyberwellness Ambassadors and teachers-in-charge, we wish to be of help to the pupils of EDP. There are many activities planned for this year. So visit this blog regularly and most importantly remember to do your part to make the internet a safe place for everyone.
