The P4-6 pupils had a Cyberwellness talk on Countering Online Aggression by a vendor, Kingmaker, during FTGP period. Following the thought-provoking talk, our CW Ambassadors did a simple follow-up to collect learning points of the talk.
The questions are: How can we make the Internet a better place? How would it feel to receive a hurtful message online? How would it feel to receive a kind, positive message online? Be sure to complete the McOnline survey! On Wednesday and Thursday of the same week, the P4-6 pupils were rostered by class to try out some fun activities to learn more about creating a more positive atmosphere on the Internet by not being bystanders. Today, our 4 Cyber-Wellness Ambassadors attended their first training programme at School for Science and Technology. They were well-received by the hosts and enjoyed their learning journey.
Firsty, they visited various display booths set up by other schools and had their hand in some games to learn CW messages. Secondly, they attended a classroom session to learn their roles and responsibilities of CW Ambassadors. Lastly, they worked in teams with other schools to act out some challenging scenerios. Click here to see the smiles on their faces and a goodie bag of fun items! Hi students,
It's the start of Term 2. A term of challenges! Hope you will encourage each other with kind words and positive notes. If you have any discomfort or issues, please speak to adults in school. Alternatively, you can post on our Forum page to discuss the issues anonymously. Thanks again for your participation! |
